A man born and raised on France’s Southern coast is exiled to the Northern territories in this comedy from actor, director and screenwriter Dany Boon.
Philippe Abrams (Kad Merad) helps run the post office in a picturesque small town in the South of France.
Philippe’s wife Julie (Zoe Felix) has been down in the dumps, and he thinks one way to lift her spirits would be to relocate to the more glamorous surroundings of the Cote d’Azur.
However, Philippe’s attempts to finagle a transfer fail, and he ends up demoted — he’s sent to Bergues, a village in Northern France stuck between Belgium and England.

Religion has been called the opiate of the people, but one hapless soul finds his spiritual life turned upside down by too much marijuana in this comedy.
Mariano (Karra Elejalde) is a traveling salesman who falls asleep while driving late at night, sending his car off the road and into a field — which turns out to be part of an illicit marijuana farm.
When Mariano awakes, he discovers that a team of policemen led by Sgt.
Talavera (Manuel Manquina) has found the weed and set the field ablaze.
The billows of fragrant smoke have a powerful effect on Mariano, and he imagines he’s seeing an apparition of the Virgin Mary.
Word of Mariano’s “holy vision” travels to evangelist Sister Trini (Gloria Munoz) in a nearby town, and he soon attracts a number of her followers who want to hear about how the Virgin spoke to him (leaving out the drugs, of course).

Much of the group responsible for MTV’s The State - including director/actor David Wain and performers Ken Marino, Kerri Kinney-Silver and Joe Lo Truglio - reunite for this outrageous, irreverent and raunchy sketch comedy, which skewers the Ten Commandments.
In the framing sequences, comedian Paul Rudd (who collaborated with much of the cast on Wet Hot American Summer and The Baxter) stands on a black stage with giant Biblical tablets projected behind him, and promises to deliver ten mini-stories, each loosely based on one of the commandments, from “Thou Shalt Have No Other Gods Before Me” through “Thou Shalt Not Covet.
” For all of the storyteller’s efforts, however, he is constantly, comically distracted by interferences, particularly those emanating from intrusions by his multiple girlfriends.
The stories are nonetheless told, one-by-one, in short film form, beginning with a sketch where Stephen (Adam Brody) goes skydiving with his intended, Kelly (Winona Ryder) but forgets to wear his parachute and gets stuck in the mud, waist deep, which draws gawkers, media, and in time, worshippers.
Several of the subsequent stories consist of raunchy, jet-black riffs on sexual perversion, including one about a virginal librarian (Gretchen Mol) entangled in a sultry and messy affair with a Mexican, and another memorable bit about a nutty surgeon who plays a prank by burying a pair of scissors in a patient’s stomach and is then sent to prison - where he experiences brutal sexual abuse at the hands of other men.
As an added bonus, the picture packs in a fully animated sequence, narrated by several crack-smokers, entitled ‘The Lying Rhino.
